How does the disc brake mount perform?

Hey guys, today I’m going to show you the good and bad things about the disc brake mount holder, if you haven’t seen my other video, this adapter converts rim brake to disc brake by adding a disc brake mount to the frame, but the question is: Is it any good? How does it hold so far?

The concept is great, the adapter mounts to the frame without any drilling. After one month of riding, the mount has moved slightly, the caliper is touching the disc rotors and it requires to be adjusted again.

You also have to keep in mind that if you are taking the wheel off for a tire or tube replacement, you would probably need to get the caliper re-adjusted again when you mount the wheel back to the frame.

It might not be a big deal and the adjustment doesn’t take too long to do it, but it could be frustrating especially when you have to do it in the middle of a ride.

So far I’m pleased with the disc brake mount, it’s a temporary solution and I’ll look up for a better mount next time.
