Immerse yourself in the raw beauty of Ladakh as we navigate the challenging terrains and high-altitude passes in our Innova Camper Van. The mountainous drive to Dixit Monastery becomes even more daring with a landslide blocking our path, testing our spirit for adventure. but not stoping us as there is always a choice of re routing but never give up attitude . one of the most satisfying feeling of cooking by the riverside using the the natural glacier water , we enjoyed making rice pulav or you can say biriyani , thats not important but making it in the natural souringing of mountain and lakes makes it a memorable one ,before reaching the iconic Pangong Lake, where the landscape unfolds in all its glory.Pangong Lake, situated at an altitude of about 4,350 meters in the Himalayas, spans across the borders of India and China, with approximately one-third of its length in India.

Pangong Tso, often referred to as Pangong Lake, is a saline lake with an elongated shape stretching over 134 km.
The lake is around 5 km wide at its broadest point.
Renowned for its mesmerizing azure-blue waters, Pangong Lake is surrounded by rugged mountains, creating a stunning landscape.
The changing colors of the lake throughout the day, especially during sunrise and sunset, add to its visual allure.
The lake extends from India to China, with two-thirds of its length falling within the territory of China (controlled by Tibet) and one-third in India (Ladakh region).
Pangong Lake gained international fame through its depiction in the Bollywood movie "3 Idiots," further attracting tourists and film enthusiasts.
Pangong Lake is one of the highest-altitude lakes in the world, contributing to its unique ecosystem and making it a challenging destination for travelers.

However, the journey takes a somber turn when a friend faces the effects of high altitude, highlighting the unpredictability of travel. but salute to the Army for giving quick First aid and making sure we are taken care Experience the highs and lows of this unique expedition, capturing the essence of exploration and the resilience of the human spirit.
A very sad moment as we could not go the world highest motorable road Umingla due to my friend sickness, but may be its a invitation to come back again to Ladakh . I will come back again as this will be kept in my bucket list .
