"HELP! I CAN'T SPEAK IN TONGUES"

Are you currently believing God for the gift of tongues? Do you feel insecure/left out because you've yet to get this gift? Then please watch this video. Look at the notes I've made below and go back and study the scriptures in depth. God's desire is for you to feel apart of His family, not feel left out or insecure about your place.

WAYS TO KNOW YOU HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT:
- Tongues (Acts 2:1-4)
- Power/Boldness To Preach (Acts 1:8, Acts 4:31-33)
- Fruit of Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)
- Not bound by a life of sin (Romans 8:9-10)

BENEFITS OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES:
- Builds you up (Jude 1:20)
- Prays the will of God through you (Romans 8:26-27) (1 Corinthians 14:2)

SO WHAT IF I STILL CAN'T SPEAK IN TONGUES?
- Pray/sing in your understanding (a language that you speak fluently) (1 Corinthians 14:15)
- Pray for other spiritual gifts that will edify the body of Christ at large, such as prophecy (see 1 Corinthians 14)
