Ed has another Aero Scout that he mounted one of these EDFs on the top of the fuselage just behind the wing. But he decided to out do himself and install two EDFs under the wings on his new Aero Scout. They are XFly-Model Galaxy X5 50mm EDFs that have 12 blade fans. He epoxied them into slots he cut in the wings. Care was taken to not hit a spar, or a wire when making the slots. He is using small 4s batteries. Once he figured out the takeoffs and landings, and got it all trimmed out, it flies well. No loops or rolls yet, but knowing Ed, aerobatics are soon to happen.
