How to Import and Map a Purchased Sequence in xLights... It's Easy!

Описание к видео How to Import and Map a Purchased Sequence in xLights... It's Easy!

Here's a quick video on importing a purchase sequence into xLights. I've seen a couple people on the xLights Facebook group inquiring about having someone custom-map a sequence or two for them because they can't figure it out. I think many don't know there are hundreds or thousands of songs out there that have already been mapped. Some are free, some cost $, but ultimately, it's incredibly easy to import and map one of those songs and get great results, sometimes with little to no tweaking. Watch the video for the steps!

Here are some sequence vendors I've used. There are many more, but I've had good luck with these so far. I prefer rgb-sequences just because their "Lite" sequences are less expensive and map well to a show that doesn't have a ton of props. Some of the other vendors have similar offerings, and all have at least one or two free sequences so you can see how their mapping style works with your layout.

https://xlightsseq.com/ is a good one that has a ton of sequences. Some are links to the other vendors and some are user-submitted sequences for free, or a small fee.
