Описание к видео Abakuá nkámes in Old Havana

At the Cuban Institute of anthropology (Instituto Cubano de antropología) in Havana the first Ékpè-Abakuá coloquim was held May 25, 2011. The video starts with Abakuá members chanting for “Nasako” (the founder), then “Okobio Enyenison” (the African initiates), then “Efik Ebuton” (the first lodge established in Cuba). Frank Oropesa (of the Septeto Nacional de Ignacio Piñeiro) then 'nkama' (speaks) in Abakua to greet all the members present and to introduce the Abakuá society and himself as a titleholder, before all exit the building in procession.
