Research shows the Ambassador was the MOST POPULAR and MOST SOLD tenor trombone in the USA from 1948 to 1968. Built with a .485/.500 dual bore slide with an outer slide that weights only 7.7oz , a 7.5" heavy weight brass bell and hard brass body, the Olds Trombones were built with the quality, durability and features of a professional trombone in its day. You will still find many Olds Ambassadors on the used market today over 40-50 and 60 years later....Why? Because they were "Built to LAST", to be easy to play, with it's heavyweight 7.5" bell the sound is rich, stable and projects like no other trombone in it's class......at a budget price.
This one I have fully restored to its original glory.
