DIY Retaining Wall

We are building a retaining wall! This single-layered upright retaining wall was pretty simple to do. We needed something that would hold back the dirt from flowing over onto the patio. Plus it creates a beautiful border and landscape piece. This project was done over the span of 3 days; however, this project could be completed in a single day. To note the overall timeframe of any project strongly depends on the tools you have and the size of the space. Our retaining wall was bordering our a 10x10 paver patio.

Materials Used:
- 4 in. x 11.75 in. x 6.75 in. Pewter Concrete Retaining Wall Block - 20 blocks (Home Depot)
- Standard size shovel
- Mini shovel
- Paver Base
- Landscape Gravel. Rocks
- Mulch
- Honorable mention - Concrete Adhesive (Did not use since we did not stack the blocks)
- Honorable mention - Chalking Gun (Did not use since we did not need the concrete adhesive)
