Dr. Naveed Zaman Akhunzada graduated from Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad back in 2009. He completed his House job from Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar by December, 2010. After clearing his FCPS (Surgery) in 2011 he joined in tertiary medical institutes in KP for his general surgery training till 2013 gaining experience from MMC Mardan, Khyber Teaching hospital Peshawar, HMC Hayatabad and AMC Abbottabad. He was selected as a neurosurgery resident in Aga khan hospital in 2013. He completed his postgraduate specialty training at Department of Neuro-surgery, Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi in 2017. He was then selected as an instructor in neurosurgery department at Aga khan hospital Karachi to work in a faculty position. He remained part of AKU till July 2019. He started providing services at Rehman Medical institute recently as an Assistant Professor/ Consultant Neuro-surgery in August 2019.
