Many people have been asking this question:

Are my Beats Studio 3 / Solo 3 headphones waterproof / water resistant / sweat resistant?

When it comes to the official answer, which comes straight from Apple, the answer is NO.

HOWEVER, this does not mean a complete NO.

The reason the answer is no, is because this will not be covered by Apple’s warranty, which basically means - if your headphones stop working due to water / sweat damage, you are on your own. (Thank you Beats for advertising these headphones with Athlethes and then telling me not to workout with them 🤔

I personally own multiple Beats headphones, and have worked out several years with the beats solo 3 and beats studio 3, and I am here to tell you that my headphones NEVER stopped working as a result of that.

BUT, and a big BUT, if you plan on working out with these headphones (or any other for that matter), expect 2 parts to go bad quite fast:

The Earpads
The headband (Does not apply to all headphones, silicone headbands are much more resilient than PU Leather headbands)

Luckily for you, these parts are REPLACEABLE, and not alot of people don’t know that.
