Welcome to the first video in my ‘Driver’s Guide’ series.

Today we are driving along the B6255 from the village of Ingleton to the village of Hawes, in the Yorkshire Dales, in my Mercedes SLK 350.

As well as a video about the road, I try to give you an idea of using this road as a start or end point if you are exploring the area, with suggested meeting points and the location of local facilities (for example if a car club wants to use Ingleton as a morning starting point for a group drive).

This is not only a video of a dash camera from start to finish as I find those videos extremely boring. I also use multiple camera angles to give you a flavour of the road which you should come to experience for yourselves.

We start in Ingleton, then go past Ingleborough Hill and the fabulous Ribblehead Viaduct before the road opens out and then we arrive in Hawes.
