Debi Durham, the Director at Iowa Economic Development Authority and Iowa Finance Authority, made a visit to the Quad Cities in mid-March.
At a reception for her arrival, Durham joined Dave Herrell, the President and CEO of Visit Quad Cities, Mike Matson, the Mayor for the City of Davenport, and Kai Swanson, Chairman of the Visit Quad Cities Board of Directors.
The group spoke on economic recovery and progress as it pertains to the region and the Quad Cities.
Director Durham noted her optimism in progress coming from the Quad Cities, citing John Deere and agricultural advances that have sparked recovery in the region.
“Together, John Deere, Iowa, the Quad Cities, represent the future of agricultural production. So I think we can all say we rest assured that we are in very good hands," said Durham.
