BattleTech: The Ultimate JumpShip Ranking

See the ranking for JumpShips, the most important ships in the BattleTech Universe:

Invader class JumpShip: The popular, cost-efficient and widespread Invader class is the archetypal JumpShip.
Merchant class JumpShip: A very popular JumpShip seen at almost any commercial jump point. Preferred by traders and cooperations.
Scout class JumpShip: The Scout class is the smallest JumpShip class still in common use. Primarily used for military operations or exploration.
Star Lord class JumpShip: The Star Lord class JumpShip holds a significant place in the history of interstellar travel within the Inner Sphere. Its immense size, advanced docking capabilities, and luxurious accommodations make it a unique vessel among its counterparts.
Monolith class JumpShip: The largest civilian JumpShip class ever built. 9 docking points and advanced communication, analysis and simulation equipment make it a force to reckon with.
Tramp class JumpShip: This armed JumpShip gained popularity among traders operating in the untamed regions of the Periphery.
Leviathan class JumpShip: As the second class with docking collars, the Leviathan is a trailblazer for many other designs. But its focus on easy maintenance turned out to be double-edged.
Liberty class JumpShip: The Liberty class was the first "modern" JumpShip, designed to make use of the newly developed docking collar technology, which has since become a defining feature of JumpShip construction.
Aquilla class JumpShip: An ancient relic, that predates the divide between JumpShips and WarShips. With good maneuver drive and hull, but completely obsolete jump drive.
Explorer class JumpShip: A small Jump Ship, designed during the Star League to transport VIPs. Quite economical, but with no docking points.
Hunter class JumpShip: A scout JumpShip designed by Clan Ghost Bear. Small and stealthy, with a tiny emergence signature and a mobile HPG.
Comitatus class JumpShip: An incredible well armed Clan JumpShip. Originally a cargo hauler, it saw far more fame as a fighter carrier.
Odyssey class JumpShip: A robust designed, large and well-armed Clan transporter with Lithium-Fusion Battery and 4 dockingpoints.
Quetzalcoatl class JumpShip: A refit variant of the Scout, that turned into its own class. It gives up its dockingpoint in favor of 12 fighter cubicles.
Magellan class JumpShip: A mainstay of the ComStar Jumpship fleet. Used by the Explorer Corps for long-range missions.
Chimeisho class JumpShip: A Draconis Combine design, created for blockade running and clandestine operations. A Lithium-Fusion Battery is the most important feature.

Battletech: The Mechwarrior Jumpship Guide should provide basic information about jumpships and the interstellar travel. If you are a Successor State of the Great Houses, the Clan Occupation Zones or on Holy Terra. From the Inner Sphere to the Periphery and the Clan Homeworlds, every Mechwarrior can use this information to learn about Battletech lore and Battletech history.
Topic are the Jumpships, that use their Kearny-Fuchida drive (K-F drive) for faster-than-light (FTL) travel. Transporting Dropships via Hardpoints with K-F Booms into different star systems. No matter if a Star League model, an inner sphere creation or a Clan type.
All important classes will be introduced and their features (Jump Sail, Lithium-Fusion Battery, Grav Decks, hydroponic gardens, Jolly Rogers, HPG...) explained. You will see, that in the BattleTech universe, BattleMechs are not the pinnacle of technology.
