(14 Aug 2020) Britain's Prince Charles on Friday thanked emergency service workers who responded to a fatal train derailment in northeast Scotland.
The Royal commended the emergency workers' bravery as he visited the site of the crash.
Three people were killed and six others injured Wednesday, when the passenger service from Aberdeen to Glasgow derailed near the coastal town of Stonehaven, amid heavy rain and landslips in the area.
The Prince of Wales, known as the Duke of Rothesay while in Scotland, visited the site on Friday and surveyed the wreckage from a hillside above.
