The Enfield Poltergeist was one of the most well-known and controversial cases of paranormal activity in 20th-century Britain. The case centered around a council house in Enfield, London, between 1977 and 1979. The case involved reports of furniture moving on its own, disembodied voices, and other unexplained phenomena-- which all surrounded two young sisters. The story attracted significant media attention and was extensively investigated by paranormal researchers and sceptics.
