Built in the 1880's, the Swartberg Pass is one of the great gravel road passes of South Africa. The scenery is quite spectacular as you drive over the Swartberg Mountains from the Great Karoo to the Little Karoo on this awe inspiring pass . The video starts on the northern side of the pass at Prince Albert and ends at the junction with the road to Calitzdorp.
