Olight Olantern Classic Mini Review - Sheer Quality with vintage styling

In this video, I take a look at the Olantern Classic Mini lantern by Olight. I have been using this bit of kit for a few months now and it is great.

The first thing to notice is the vintage styling - the finish and build quality on this lantern is genuinely something to behold - it is exquisitely put together and very solid. It offers a lovely ambient light - reminiscent of the old 'squirrel cage' lamps from days gone by. When you move up through the light levels, this seamlessly changes to a brighter white light for more practical use around camp - so the best of both worlds, a lovely ambient glow and bright, practical light with stepless dimming.

The lantern also doubles as handy emergency powerbank if you need it. With IPX5 waterproofing, it will stand the rigours of the UK summer.

The only negatives I can think of are the weight (this is not something you will be bringing up a mountain - unless you like carrying heavy packs like me) and it is fairly expensive - but it is a very premium lantern, but Olight sometimes have some great offers and flash sales.
