After attack on Indian embassy in London, Khalistani supporters tried to set Indian Consulate on fire in San Francisco. Reacting to which, the United States 'strongly condemned' the action. The Fire Department swiftly extinguished the flames, preventing significant damage to the consulate. Talking tough on the issue, Jaishankar said India has requested countries like US, UK, Canada and Australia to not provide space to Khalistanis.
