Explained most of what this is in the intro of the video. I do want to write a bit about the "lore" behind these though and my experiences beating them so here we go.

Chaotic Energy:

Yeah this was made for a GDPS called "ClassikGDPS" or "CGDPS." Was probably one of the first GDPS's I played and its servers aren't even up anymore lol. This was supposed to be part of a 3 trilogy of cheapy levels with this being the hardest. The other 2 levels actually did get verified but I didn't end verifying mine, being this one. I got okay-ish progress. I remember having like 30% and like 50-100%. I did not do my due diligence in patching some chokepoints though so uhh, pretty bad level.

Dreamscape:

Made for XGDPS, which I am pretty sure is still around. Although my copy of the executable doesn't connect to the servers anymore. I think my best runs at the time were like a 45-close to 100 run? Suffers from similar issues to Chaotic Energy, just not that great. I don't know where their current demonlist is so who knows maybe it could hypothetically still be top 1.

TORRENT:

This was meant to be GoldPS's top 1. GoldPS was a 1.9 sister server to SilvrPS but it ended up being shut down eventually. I don't even think the hardest level on there even reached insane demon at the time lol. While its not supported anymore, for whatever reason the servers on this thing are STILL up, don't ask me why. There are actually some people who still upload levels to this day, I wonder if they are even aware it got shut down. I have a bit of a soft spot for this level as I feel like this does classic NC pretty well in the drop parts and the song works so well for something like this gawd damn. That being said this was made pretty much after I was done with Aquatic so I was omega wave brained. I did suspect at the time that the non-waves were "a little" unbalanced but uhh yeah no the cube parts are comically easy to compared to the waves. S tier balancing from old me, although I never got any significant progress before moving away from it, mostly because GoldPS died before I even bothered.

300:

This one is interesting. This wasn't meant to be my verification when it was originally made, but I did end up picking it up after the previous verifier wasn't touching it. I got 55-100 but then didn't end up getting any more progress because I was somewhat burned out from GDPS verifications at the time. Somewhat of a shame, this level is actually pretty okay and would've been a demonlist staple at the time. Oh yeah, I'm also not the first person to beat this level believe or not. maus999 actually ended up picking this up and beating the most recent copy, quite unexpected. (should clarify, this was made sometime inbetween clubbin it and crystal caverns, so yes this would've been top 1)

Continuum:

Boy where do I even start with my experience of beating this level. This level is the only level in this compilation to not even be fully decorated before momentum stopped. I did end up playing it a bit in its undecorated state with some runs near the end. I don't even know if I changed anything before stopping with it. And jesus christ, did it show. Fixed hitboxes everywhere, insane chokepoints, you name it. Even though I didn't even play some parts, I can't believe I let some of it slide. Hell why did cheapy even build some of that shit in the first place. I really, really, REALLY, wanted to beat this in its original state. After 57% and 28-100% in the unnerfed copy with 39,410 attempts, my fixation with finishing this level was legitimately weighing down on my enjoyment of this game as whole. So, I ended up nerfing it. I tried to be very conservative with my nerfs, only putting small-ish nerfs in the most crucial places so that the original "challenge" would still be in-tact. Somehow, it wasn't enough I guess, because my attempt count grew to 63,195 attempts (literally more than I've spent on ANY extreme I've beaten) and my progress increased slightly to 70% and like 21-100% I guess. I was pretty much on my last straw at that point. It's one thing to have this happen on a list demon, it's another thing to have this happen on a not even fully decorated level that I didn't even intend to see released anywhere. I ended up nerfing it again, where I tried to be a little bit more liberal but still generally mild on the nerfs. Ended up beating it very quickly after that. Don't ask me how hard this is, I don't really know at the end of all of it. Even though I think it was ultimately for the best, I would be lying if I didn't feel somewhat ashamed that I ended up nerfing it at all. Maybe one day I'll go back and beat the unnerfed version just so I can finally fully be at peace with it, but for now, the amount of effort I put in should be MORE than enough.
