Burgaz Beach is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited, The blue of the sea is truly fascinating, and the beauty of the place surpasses any expectation.


The Burgazada Sanitorium, founded in 1928, is one of the oldest sanitoria in the country.


Burgazada, Burgaz Adası, or shortly Burgaz is the third largest of the Princes' Islands in the Sea of Marmara, near Istanbul, Turkey.

It is officially a neighbourhood in the Adalar district of Istanbul.


Historically, the island has been inhabited chiefly by the Greek minority, whereas in the 20th century, many Jews from Istanbul have settled in Burgazada.
In recent years, with the dwindling of minority populations of Turkey, the local population balance has shifted towards that of Istanbul in general.



The distance between Istanbul and Burgazada is 18 km.
However, there is no car access to get there. The best way to get from Istanbul to Burgazada is to ferry which takes 1h 15 minutes and costs 11.50 ₺.
