IIT JAM 2021 Exam Dates Announced: The Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru i.e. IISc Bengaluru, has officially announced the IIT JAM 2021 Exam Dates and other details. The institute which has been entrusted the task of holding the ‘Joint Admission Test for Masters’ i.e. JAM 2020 has also launched a new website for the entrance exam at jam.issc.ac.in, where candidates can find the exam dates and new changes have been listed. JAM 2021 is a national level entrance exam that is held as a screening test for candidates looking to join MSc and other masters degree programme at premier technology institutes including IITs and IISc.


IIT JAM 2021 – Important Dates

As per the details announced by IISc Bengaluru, the institute will commence the application process for the Joint Admission Test in September. The JAM 2021 Application Process will commence on 10th September 2020 and will go on until 15th October 2020. IIT JAM 2021 exam is scheduled to be held on 14th February 2021. The exam authority has also informed aspirants that the entrance exam will be held in two shifts in computer-based mode. After the completion of the examination, candidates can expect the JAM 2021 Results to be out by 20th March 2021. However, candidates must note that these are initial dates and are subject to change at the discretion of the exam conducting authority, depending on the prevailing situation.

One More Subject Added

According to the details provided by the exam conducting authority, the exam will be held in total 7 subjects or domain areas. Traditionally, the exam has been held to screen students in 6 key technical subjects or areas i.e. Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Geology and Mathematical Statistics. However, for this year, the institute has also added Economics as one of the key subjects for which the PG entrance exam would be held.
