I went hands-on with the new ROG Xbox Ally X at Gamescom the handheld that feels closer than ever to an Xbox portable. I tried Doom, Forza Horizon 5, and even High on Life 2, plus I saw the lower-tier model and plus did some quick FPS testing. These are my first impressions of how the Ally X feels in the hand, how it plays, and where it might fit into Xbox’s handheld future.
