Vortex Month 6 from Legit Kits

It’s Month Six of the @legitkits Block of the Month! This month, we make four blocks, and then assemble them into a mini quilt that will make up part of the full quilt. These are easy blocks, and I walk you through the whole process, including the tools and supplies you need, cutting out your fabric, and sewing it all together.

I’m getting caught up in posting the Vortex Block of the Month. So hopefully you’re like me: a huge procrastinator who is just now getting around to your month six and will benefit from this video. If you finished up your Vortex, there are other block of the months available at legitbom.com.

A note about starching: I am usually a firm believer in starching your fabrics before cutting, but this is a special quilt, broken down into months, and I didn’t feel it was as necessary in this case. I also wanted to keep the instructions simple and easy, and felt adding starching to the “to do” list would over-complicate things. Feel free to starch or not to starch!
