The primary aim of this film is to show the London Transport Museum's 1938 Tube Stock Heritage Train at several locations around London, however also seen are some of the other trains filmed on this day plus more....

...including normal service London Underground, London Overground* and C2C trains and a very special 1988 InterCity railtour train passing through one of the stations the 1938 Hritage train had passed through.

*The Class 378 train on the Barking - Gospel Oak route was actually an 'emergency service' train, deputising for brand new trains which are not yet ready to enter passenger service
