Dynisma Ltd.® has completed the installation of a DMG-1 driving simulator (Dynisma Motion Generator) at the Nissan Formula E Team facility in Paris, France. The high-fidelity Driver-in-the-Loop simulator is now fully operational and already supporting driver preparation and engineering work for Season 12 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, while also underpinning future GEN4 development.

The installation follows the announcement of Dynisma as Official Simulator Partner to Nissan Formula E Team last year and comes as the team builds momentum early in the season, including a podium finish at the São Paulo E-Prix. The simulator is used extensively by Nissan Formula E drivers Oliver Rowland, the reigning Formula E World Drivers’ Champion, and Norman Nato for race preparation, circuit familiarisation and development work throughout the season.

The DMG-1 driving simulator supports a wide range of Formula E applications including car setup, energy management strategy development, tyre and balance optimisation, software and powertrain validation, full virtual race-weekend simulations and early validation of the upcoming 600 kW GEN4 Formula E car arriving in Season 13.

Engineered for exceptionally high correlation and accuracy, the Dynisma DMG-1 delivers ultra-low latency and high-bandwidth motion, enabling drivers and engineers to run more accurate development cycles in a championship where physical track testing is highly restricted.
