The moment we received an original film prop of the Marauder’s Map, I scanned each leaf of the map in high res and delivered them (and the map) to our 3D expert to assemble inside of 3D Studio Max.

Meanwhile, I created the interactive prototype seen here. I started working with a few design elements like the red banners to identify sections, and continued to refine the interface. I spent very little time on this part—just enough to work out how to differentiate the page headers from the buttons to get to other sections. It was clear we needed arrows.
