We have started from Perea, the little beach town of Macedonian region in Greece. We have not taken highway to see more of the land. We drove first on E90 then took the E86.
There is archaeological site of Pella on this route and he next is Edessa. We didn't stop this time on the way for sightseeing, since we didn't know the road well.
But later on we have been driving to Thessaloniki again and we stopped at Edessa Waterfalls, which is a beautiful natural site that is worth visiting.

Our navigation is showing the route which stretches on the south of Lake Vegoritida, but as usual we have taken just the opposite site to the north and we continued driving on E86.
The road was of course smaller, part wise in a bad condition and climbing a little.. We have seen the cherry plantations while driving through the valley, the beautiful lake view in a natural environment and the most interesting .. the signboard to Yugoslavia! 40 km to Yugoslavia.
Sometimes the signboards could be standing longer than countries.. It is I guess before Vevi so must be in Kella.
This road intersects with E65/A3, so we continued towards Bitola. After approximately 14 km crossing Mexhitli – Niki Border we arrived Bitola, which is an important junction connecting the south of the Adriatic Sea with the Aegean Sea and Central Europe.

We are getting higher and higher while getting closer to Ohrid City. Before the city center the roads turns to right to Struga, which is a little town both touristic and local. We know the way to Camping Rino already because we were here last year in November. Arriving to planned destination without any problem and meeting with kind people is always great fun and an important meaning of travel.

Well we are here, at Camping Rino and Pimi is now showing very nice sheltered place for our rolling home.. There are some neighbors already around.
