I started my journey from kuala lumpur TBS bus station to kuala besut (bus fare was 45 RM) after that i walked around 10mins to jetty station from kuala besut station(make sure always use maps to find locations)from jetty to perhentian island speed board fare 35 RM and then you can go any beach you want in perhentian island I personally recommend you to go long beach first then you go other beachs.
