The fabric filter on the newer Canaan Avalon Q model is built-in and non-removable, which is why it looks different from the one shown in older YouTube videos. To clean it, you can:

Use compressed air, Gently blow air through the filter from the inside out to remove dust buildup.

Soft brush or vacuum, Lightly brush or vacuum the surface of the filter to clear dust without damaging the fabric.

Avoid water or harsh cleaning solutions ,Since the filter is fixed, washing is not recommended as moisture can damage the unit.

For heavy dust environments, we recommend cleaning it regularly (every 1–2 weeks) to maintain proper airflow and performance.

Cleaning Process:

Check Filter Percentage: Use the Avalon family app to check the filter percentage. If it's over 50%, it's time to clean (0:43-0:51, 4:10-4:13).
Power Off and Unplug: Turn off and unplug your Canaan Avalon Q from the wall outlet (0:54-1:00).
Remove Connections: Disconnect the Wi-Fi receiver or Ethernet LAN cable (1:03-1:17).
Remove the Back Panel: Gently pop off the back panel to expose the filter (1:20-1:40).
Brush Off Dust: Use a detail brush to gently brush off dust buildup from the filter (3:13-3:29, 4:31-4:40).
Use Compressed Air/Blower: Blow air through the filter from the inside out to remove remaining dust particles. A combination of brushing and blowing is recommended (3:35-3:42, 6:10-7:12, 9:20-9:47, 10:23-10:32).
Clean Machine Exterior: While not critical, it's good practice to brush off dust from the machine's exterior to maintain it (5:01-5:26).
Reattach Panel: Securely reattach the back panel (10:41-10:58).
Reconnect and Power On: Plug back in your Wi-Fi receiver or Ethernet cable, then plug the miner back into the wall outlet (11:08-11:18).
Reset Filter in App: Log back into the Avalon family app and reset the filter status to keep track of maintenance (12:00-12:17).
Important Considerations:

Do Not Wash: The fabric filter is non-removable and should not be washed with water or harsh cleaning solutions, as moisture can damage the unit (2:36-2:55).
Cleaning Frequency: If your miner is in a very dusty environment, it's recommended to clean the filter every 1-2 weeks instead of relying solely on the app's conservative estimate (3:47-4:08, 11:26-11:30).
