"Runaway" is a song that's been in the back of my mind for a long time, as far as remixing it goes. In fact, I've wanted to make a full remix of it ever since I included its chorus in a 4-chord medley from August of 2019. I finally decided to take on a such task this month, as I found it to be a fitting song to remix using the soundfont I had chosen beforehand. As it turns out, it was quite the challenging song to somewhat faithfully recreate in Super Mario Paint, so I don't regret waiting until 2021 before going for it.

The soundfont used for this video takes its instruments from Pokemon HG/SS and was created by CyanSMP64.

The key varies throughout the song, with the most used one being D minor, and the others being G minor, A minor and E minor, in chronological order. The BPM is 148 before the second bridge section, and 154 afterward. I hope you enjoy.
