Apex Predator is the second song and video in the Mammoth concept album by Cryptid. Cryptid is a father and son duo that sprung out of quarantine writing this progressive metal concept album. The album tells the story through eight songs about a mammoth who, mutated by a meteorite impact, ravages a caveman camp. The Neanderthals, enraged, hunt down the mammoth.
You can see Cryptid perform the album live, in it's entirety, one night only, September 14th at FrakturFest III at the Old No 7 Saloon in Palmyra, IL.
