•Play this video on a comfortable volume level that will not disturb your sleep cycle or distract you while meditating.
•Use aroma therapy, a scent to help you relax such as Lavender, Sage, Frankincense, Ylang Ylang, or Atlas Cedarwood. I would recommend using an essential oil diffuser to avoid a potential fire or safety hazard.
•Try to avoid any outside distractions and clear your mind of any negative thoughts or emotions, and focus your energy into your Third Eye/Pineal Gland just before starting.
•Use diaphragmatic breathing to help you relax by placing one hand on your chest and the other on your naval. Make sure the hand on the naval is the only hand moving up and doing as you inhale and exhale while keeping the hand on the chest still. Try to find a comfortable cadence and depth of breath. Feel your breath travel throughout your body (especially your vascular system)
•As soon as you wake up/come out of your meditation, write down if you have any dreams and their description in detail, if you were able to Astral Travel, if you receive any messages or communications, how you feel once you wake up, and anything else that you experienced during your sleep or meditative session.
