22-year-old Nageenpora kund boy qualifies IES exam, secures 2nd rank all over India

A youth from Nageenpora kund of South Kashmir’s kulgam District has brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir by qualifying Indian Ecnomics Services (IES) exams conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) with 2nd rank all over India.

Tanveer Ahmed , a resident of Nageenpora kund area of kulgam who is a Master's of Ecnomics of pass out of kashmir University Srinagar, has qualified the exam

Tanveer said that he has done his schooling in his Native area, of kund

“My family has been bearing my all expenses I am thankful to him along with my family who has supported me every time despite facing many problems financially,” he said.

Tanveer said that before completing MA in economics in the year 2018 he appeared in Graduate Aptitude Test in IES exams and secured 2nd rank all over India


“Since 2018 I have been preparing for the exams and finally, I have achieved my dream I was expecting to be part of the list but 2nd rank was a surprise,”

He said that due to the financial crunch he himself studied without any coaching.

“I was studying for around 10hours on a daily basis and qualified the exam with ease,” he said
