What a Tesseract REALLY Looks Like - 4D Objects in 3D Space

I recently watched ‪@kylehill‬'s video    • This is NOT a Tesseract.   and while I agree with him when he says the tesseract has been misrepresented and miscommunicated to the general masses, I do not agree with the idea that the object he's holding represents a tesseract's shadow, nor do I think it helps anyone imagine what they'd actually look like to us lowly 3D beings should we ever somehow encounter one. So strap yourselves in! Here's what I think.
