I wanted to see how well Shakepeare's sonnets would adapt to classic 70s and 80s punk rock. I grew up listening to bands like The Ramones, The Clash, The Sex Pistols and obvious others. I think I've come up with music that really captures the raw energy of the era. I was too young to experience the scene myself. So this video is also a love letter to a fascinating time in rock history. And to some of the music venues lost to time. The visuals tell the life story of a fictional band from the era, from childhood inspiration, to hard work, to tireless touring and eventually success. And the cycle begins again through the eyes of a young fan who saw them play.

As for Sonnet 27, imagine you're really sad because your best friend is away. You miss them a lot, right? Well, that's kind of what's happening in this poem.
