CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The residents of the Dockside townhomes are filing a lawsuit against the City of Charleston.

The 19-page document reveals, in vivid detail, the timeline of residents who had to evacuate their homes with only a 24-hour notice. In the lawsuit, one resident describes the event as "thrown out on the street."
