On July 28, 1938, Judy Garland pre-recorded “Ten Pins In The Sky” for the film "Listen, Darling."

Part of Judy’s vocal and the entire instrumental middle section was deleted from the final edit of the film. It’s likely that the instrumental section was to underscore some dialog to be spoken in character by Judy to Scotty Beckett to help his character not be afraid of the thunder.

Here is the complete recording. The missing footage (if it was ever filmed) is represented here with footage from the film’s trailer and a few scenes from the film itself.
