I went to BrickWorld Chicago for the first time ever this year; this is the haul of LEGO stuff I came away with. On Friday, we arrived in Chicago and went to the LEGO store nearest the convention. There was no GWP but I did get one box of BAM and one box of pick & build. Bam parts are pieces I always like and rarely have access to, and the PAB wall had some really good elements to choose from. Then at BrickWorld itself I at least looked at all the vendors… I ended up actually buying from 3 of them. One of the vendors gave me a squishy big brick as a GWP. I got the animals, the Atlantis fig, and the red one of the Rock Monsters from Power Miners. One of the other sells had two more of the Rock Monsters, including the blue one with the busted hand that I didn’t notice until just today. And a third vendor had another rock monster, the orange one with the crystal, the late 90s ghost, and the Pharaoh’s Quest figures. Lastly, as we were waking out of the convention, at the end of the day on Sunday, they were handing out the Ninjago poly bags, so I got that for free. Overall, I’m extremely happy with my busy, although I do wish I would have noticed that hand on the blue rock monster. I did spend more than I wanted, but I got some pretty rare stuff. I will do another video to break down what all came in the PAB and BAM boxes.
