The battery load tester checks battery voltage, CCA (Cold Cranking Amps), Resistance, Life (SOH) and State of Charge (SOC). It also print out the voltage graph while starting the car, and monitors the minimum and maximum charging voltagesto check the charging system. If will also test if an alternator diode has failed, by testing the ripple voltage.
