Ranking the songs on the Beatles self titled, but often so called 'white' album from worst to best or least favorite to favorite.

30. Wild Honey Pie
Very short and probably meant as a joke. I don't hate it, but it's definitly my least favorite.

29. Birthday
A controversial choice for sure. Again I don't hate it, but it's way too repetitive imo.

28. Don't Pass Me By
Ringo's first song. Not bad at all, but I prefere his second song 'Octopus's Garden'.

27. Revolution 9
The least favorite song for 99% of all Beatles fans. I think it's interesting to listen to from time to time, to be honest.

26. Why Don't We Do It In The Road?
Another short and pretty simple track, but with great vocals by Paul.

25. The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill
I was a bit suprised that this song ended up so low on my list. I like it, especially the verses and the lyrics.

24. Long, Long, Long
A very quiet song by George. Another one I was suprised to see so low on my list. But there are just 23 songs I like even more.

23. I Will
A nice, little tune. Nothing special, but a good song.

22. Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey
The Beatles song with the longest title. It's pretty heavy rock song with a kinda weird ending to it.

21. Savoy Truffle
I like the distorted brass instruments and the lyrics are kinda funny - they're about Eric Clapton, who loved to eat all kinds of sweets.

20. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
Not a bad song, but I "hate" that it seems to be the only song people know from the white album. It's one of these simple, childlike, singalong tunes Paul liked to write from time to time.

19. Good Night
A beautiful lullaby written by John and sung by Ringo. Many people don't like it, I do.

18. Helter Skelter
Probably one of the first heavy metal songs ever, but songwriting wise it's not a great song in my opinion. But it's iconic nevertheless and I love Ringo's "I've got blisters on my fingers".

17. Sexy Sadie
I don't really know a lot to say about this song. It's a good song by John with great vocals.

16. Rocky Raccoon
Love the story of the song - tragic, but also really funny.

15. Piggies
Really good song by George, from the melody to the instumentation.

14. Cry Baby Cry
Basically two songs in one. Love both.

13. Revolution 1
I prefere the hard rocking single version, but this version is really good too.

12. Back In The USSR
The Beach Boys influenced opening song - a classic!

11. Martha My Dear
A song Paul wrote for his dog. Great melodies and instrumentation.

10. Julia
Very intimate song John wrote for his mother. A beautiful tune.

9. Honey Pie
Might be lower on most people's lists, but like 'When I'm 64' (and unlike 'Your Mother Should Know') I love this song in the tradition of the 1920s.

8. Yer Blues
Heavy, bluesy song with really depressing lyrics I can relate to way too much.

7. Mother Nature's Son
It really grew on me over the last months. Beautiful song by Paul.

6. Glass Onion
Love the lyrics where John mentions five different earlier Beatles songs. The song itself is a good rock song, really like it a lot.

5. Dear Prudence
Another beautiful ballad, John wrote for Prudence Farrow, the sister of Mia Farrow, in India.

4. Blackbird
Paul's best song on the white album. A bit similar to 'Mother Nature's Son', but instead of the orchestra he used the sounds of blackbirds. Great lyrics as well.

3. I'm So Tired
I'm probably the only one who ranks this song so high. But I really love its dreamy feeling and John's fanatastic vocal performance.

2. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Probably George's greatest song ever with a guitar solo by no one less than Eric Clapton.

1. Happiness Is A Warm Gun One of my all time favorite Beatles songs. Made out of three different songs, it's one of the most complex Beatles tracks.

In each video of this series I'm hiding one mistake in the song titles. The first person to comment the mistake, gets a free imaginary hug ;)
