This Skylark 3C was restored to flying condition over the past two years and was remaidened august 9th 2022.
She is of 1956 vintage, once registered PH-249 in the Netherlands. In the '80s she moved to the UK for an extensive repair and later flew with Enstone Eagles GC in Enstone, registered as BGA 1511 / CFQ. After that she moved to the South East of the UK in the hands of Simon Waters.
In the early 90s she moved back to Holland and was kept in storage as part of a museum collection. We picked her up in december 2019 to make
her a flying exhibit. She carries her old registration PH-249 again.

This Skylark 3C is one of two that were built for the Dutch market. It is essentially a Skylark 3A with strengthened spars. The other one, PH-250, crashed at the 1963 World Championships in Argentina after exceeding VNe and losing the port wingtip. The pilot escaped without injury.
