Instead of forcing movement, we started by opening the rib cage through lateral flexion and gentle spinal rotation to restore access and circulation. Once the ribs and surrounding tissues began to move, we introduced spinal decompression and the accordion effect—a rhythmic process of relaxation and compression that allows the spine to organize itself safely.

By working with the body rather than against it, stiffness decreased, movement returned, and the thoracic spine became responsive again—without pain.
