Mondi Ružomberok started up a new containerboard machine in 2021 at their Ružomberok mill in Slovakia with support from Valmet. The mill is one of Mondi’s largest plants, and it is the biggest integrated pulp and paper mill in Slovakia.

Valmet delivered the full scope for the project from the OCC line to the containerbord machine. For the OCC line, the delivery included a complete OptiRefiber recycled fiberline, as well as the whole stock preparation line. The PM 19 delivery included a complete Valmet OptiConcept M containerboard line and an OptiWin Drum two-drum winder with Dual Unwind.
