In this lecture we’ll look at determining the empirical formula of zinc chloride. First, I’ll explain the concepts of what data needs to be collected and how we can use the data to find the empirical formula. Next, I show each step of the lab. Finally, I'll use the data I collected to show you how to find the empirical formula of zinc chloride. For my students, this is a required video of our pre-lab assignment.
