In this video, I compare the sound of my custom Logic Pro channel strip, PG Fameless Amp, with a well-known $100 amp sim plugin. This project is an experiment to see how closely I can recreate the sound of the amp sim using only stock Logic Pro plugins, without the need for third-party software.

The channel strip makes use of several EQ and distortion plugins, including Match EQ, to try and recreate the tone. While it gets reasonably close, it does not include the graphical interface or built-in post effects (like EQ, delay, and reverb) found in the original plugin. PG Fameless Amp is available for free as part of this experiment in sound recreation.

Please note, this is not intended as a replacement for the original amp sim, which I continue to use for its advanced features and effects.
