So, this was the day I had my very first crash of an RC model, and I have to say, I felt gutted.

I had a long run of successful flights, and this Sunday late afternoon I was getting in some practice for my BMFA "A test" when I crashed the very model I was due to take the test with!

The Multiplex Mentor realy stood up to the crash rather well and the snappable wing bolts did there job and broke off saving the wing from any damage.

Receiver was toasted, and so when I repaired the model, the new receiver was put right down inside the fuselage, out of the path of the battery completely.

Aside from mild foam compression, the damage really was minimal, only the electronics suffered really.

Repaired it, flew it again and everything was great, did my A test in it as planned, and managed to film the test with 2 HD cameras on the model during the test.
