notes on this game:
"OX" that appears after the having defeted KARNOV the final-boss with undefeted as the secret-character, OX gives a bonus-score more than twice as much as a normal enemy when viewed as a stand-alone game. however, you should build up a score round by round without "OX" by intentionally losing at the 1st round, if you would aim to make a true high-score record seriously. so, you can gain more score, and the total will be higher finally. it is at least 30000pts or more, and it is also over 100000pts if you use a character like KARNOV that has a big-scoring move.

it is hard to understand because the total results are just only displayed at once without specific details, but the bonus-score you can gain after having defeated an enemy of its round includes not only "time" and "life", but also a bonus-score added based on any kind of attack which suceed to hit against the enemy in a round. this special bonus-score is added as "+200pts" per a kind. special-moves, normal-attacks, and grapplings are all "+200pts" as well. therefore, you can gain a bonus-score much more by using many different kinds of attacks as possible when you will win, but it is disabled if it is blocked.

notes on this character:
KARNOV's "Balloon-Attack" which can be only used in the air originally, but you can use it on the ground by a trick. you can directly activate "Balloon-Attack" on the ground by the below command input, even if you have not jumped and stayed in the air beforehand.

this is a simple trick, input the command only by a lever without input a button at the first, and then a lever pull up into a diagonally upward, and complete the command by the pressing a button at last. YUNGMIE's "Aura-Smash" can also be activated by the same method, but "Balloon-Attack" can be activated more easily. because the conditions of the last command input to activate is not strict, it is OK even if the input timing of the lever and the button is not the same time but it is a little bit lag, the both are acceptable.

the advantage of this method is that let KARNOV directly become invincible on the ground and go upto the air without jumping, but you can not activate it using the canceling any normal-attack.

初めてMVS版として画面に表示された姿を見た時は余りの変わり様に驚きを隠せませんでした... 無印版というか昔のチビマッチョな姿でプレイしてみたかったです。
