How to carve an elder bead necklace

A simple tutorial that shows you how to make a necklace of wooden beads by carving your own beads from an elder tree.

Easy steps to follow for beginners and some helpful ideas and tips to make yours unique.
Create a beautiful and protective necklace on to keep forever, or make some to sell or give as gifts.

You will need – A stick, a knife, a saw, thread, scissors, a needle, glue, a skewer, metal clasp and jump rings.

I’m using a Mora knife (Morakniv) and I use a Beavercraft leather strop and polishing compound to sharpen my knife.
