Just a few years ago discussions of ‘data ethics’ and ‘responsible AI’ were reserved for nonprofit organizations and academics. Today the biggest tech companies in the world - Microsoft, Amazon, Twitter, Google, and more - are putting together teams to tackle the ethical problems that are arising from the widespread collection, analysis, and use of data to train machine learning models.

Today, we rely on artificial intelligence (AI) for many of our daily decisions- from helping us choose our TV shows to making business decisions. Operationalizing data and AI ethics is not an easy task. From buy-in from senior leadership and cross-function collaborations to policy and framework creation- companies are beginning to make the investments needed to mitigate the risk of AI ethics.

We’ve partnered with the Responsible AI Institute, to dive into Responsible AI and talk with leading organizations in this space and their approaches.
