Between June 19 and 27, 2025, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out one of the most intense and effective operations of the year. From the forests of Sumy to the front lines of Toretsk, and deep into Prechistivka and Konstantinivka, Ukrainian soldiers—supported by FPV kamikaze drone attacks—launched precision strikes that devastated enemy formations.

The Ukrainian FPV drone strike operations eliminated 99 targets, including Russian rocket launcher systems, UAV control centers, fuel and ammunition depots, and infantry shelters. In Prechistivka, a Russian rocket launcher was destroyed after a kamikaze drone hit its barrels, triggering a chain explosion. In Sumy, Russian infantry were ambushed and hunted down by drones and artillery. Meanwhile in Toretsk, a Russian drone attack using “Privet-82 Molniya” UAVs failed as Ukrainian defenders shot them down mid-air.

This was not just a tactical victory. In Konstantinivka, Russian attempts to advance in small groups were met with relentless drone strikes, revealing how Ukraine vs Russia drone war has shifted to high-tech engagements. The Pentagon Brigade, RDK fighters, and Air Defense units all contributed. RDK drone units even captured surrendering enemy soldiers after clearing buildings with FPV drones.
